Hi Tubers

A couple things to cover in this weeks newsletter.

A very warm welcome to you if this is the first of our newsletters that you are receiving. We hope you enjoy your time with us here in our small community.

Tube News
*************
During the course of the week we uploaded another 64 tubes. All of these went into 3 new categories - Rainbows, Clouds, and Glitter. The "newest tubes" page in the members area has links to all of these if you want to get to them quickly. I have also increased the size of the "newest tubes" page in the members area to incorporate the newest 75. The page takes a little longer to load .. but at least you wont miss any of the newest stuff :-)

Barry wrote a new tutorial/tips/hints on "how to sharpen tubes that have been scaled down". This tutorial is at http://www.psp-tubes.com/tutorials_sharpening_tubes.asp if you would like to give it a read.

I am still busy writing the code for the Greeting Card System. On the home stretch now .. and I am hoping to have the card system online during next week. A couple of cards have been uploaded by members already ... thank you very much for that :-) I have had to remove a few of them because they did not comply to the size specification .. so when they were loaded they appeared "scrunched" up. If you design/upload any cards please make sure that they are 250 pixels high X 175 pixels wide or they do not look good at all. If you would like to see what cards have already been uploaded then you can point your browser at http://www.psp-tubes.com/cards/show_all_cards.asp

Last week I didn't know how many cards were going to be uploaded, so I limited the card designs to members only. We would like to have a much larger selection that what is there already .. so the design of the cards is open to ANYBODY. If you would like to make some greeting cards for the new system just follow the "Add Cards to New Greeting Cards System" link under the main menu on any of our web pages. Please read/comply with the specs (particularly on dimensions and max. file size).

We sponsor prizes at the Jolly Roger Pirates web site .. and I would like to welcome Kelly aboard as a PSP-TUBES dot COM member - congrats to her being the latest winner from over there. If you want to have some fun pitting your web site against others in some friendly competition then pop across and pay them a visit at http://www.jollyrogerpirates.com ... I know some of you are already there because I get the emails to vote :-))
