Site News : 18 January 2002

Hi Tubers

We hope everyone had a VERY merry festive season. Is everyone still keeping to their new years resolutions ?? *smile*

A huge welcome to everybody that has recently joined our small community as members, or joined our mailing list. I am doing my best to getting around to welcoming you individually :-)

Just a very quick news letter before the weekend to catch you up on recent site developments.

By now everyone who was a member on Christmas day will have received the notification that their membership period was doubled. I certainly hope we didn't leave anyone out. If you did not get your email in the first week of the year then please drop me a note and I will sort it out for you straight away.

On Monday we added more tubes to the site. In the members area we added a new theme called "Music". Also, new tubes were added to the African, Birds, and Picture Frames themes. We also added a new tutorial on "How to export tubes into PSP" - this is to address a question that we are asked on an almost daily basis. If you downloaded tubes from the site and then couldn't get them to open in PSP then visit http://www.psp-tubes.com/tutorials_exporting_tubes.asp :-)

On Tuesday we also added more tubes to the site. In the members area we added 2 new themes called "Ducks" and "Mixed". The "Mixed" theme is basically there to hold tubes that we dont have a seperate classification for yet. Also, new tubes were added to African, Sea Creatures, and Picture Frames themes.

Samples of the new "Ducks" and "Music" themes were also added to the "Freebies" section of the site.

In closing I would like to leave you with a site I found while stumbling around on the web, and that I found very interesting. Have you ever wondered what these magnificent tubes that we all make look like to a person who suffers from some degree of color blindness ?? Check out http://www.vischeck.com - it allows you to enter your web site URL and then see what your web site looks like to somebody that is visually impaired.

Have a great weekend.

Kind regards

Alan
