July 03, 2002 Issue

Hi

If you have HTML email then you are seeing here our "new-look" newsletter published in multipart format - ie. HTML for those that have HTML enabled email readers, and boring old text for everyone who doesn't :-)

This is our first attempt at this, so I am hoping it is successful, and I am sure we will get it looking better as we go along.

A very warm welcome to all of our new readers and new members. It has been more than 2 weeks since my last newsletter, and there are many newbies. I hope you enjoy your stay here with us :-)

We trust that all our Canadian members and readers had a great Canada Day on Monday just past, and we would also like to wish all our American members and readers a wonderful, and safe, 4th July celebration for tomorrow.

Tube News

There have been 60 new tubes added to the site since our last newsletter. That increases our collection to 2325 tubes in 68 themes, and we are well on our way to achieving our goal, which is to make this the largest collection of original, high quality, tubes on the Internet.

29 of these new tubes are in a new theme called "Patriotic (USA)" .. just in time for 4th July. Please bear in mind that we are not American, so we hope you enjoy our attempts :-)

There are also 2 other new themes - Horses, and Bugs. The balance of the new tubes are spread across Tiny Tots, Birds, African, Mixed, Fruit, Dogs and Cats, Leaves, and Flowers.

All 3 of the new themes result from your suggestions and voting .. so please keep those votes flowing. We are trying our best to supply what you ask for :-)

Cash Evolution - financial freedom by choice

Each of us here at PSP-TUBES dot COM is a member of Cash Evolution (as are each member of our immediate families). We were introduced to the company directly by Mark Joyner - if you dont know who he is do a search on his name at Google :-)

We already earned more than $100 this month and the company is hardly running yet.

Mark Joyner has personally endorsed this brand new company, as have other legends like Mike Glaspie (owner of BannersGoMLM), Shawn Casey and Joe Vitale (world famous Internet marketing millionaires), all of whom are also members.

General Site News

There has not been too much new "visible" code added to the site. I have been spending a lot of time "beefing up" what is already there, to make it more robust and compatible.

Remember Me Feature

I have added a new "remember me" option on to the members login page. If you place a check mark in the box then your PC will automatically remember your login and password whenever you want to log in again. This was a long overdue feature that I eventually got around to writing :-)

Survey from 2Checkout.Com

It has come to our attention that our credit card payment processor (2CheckOut.Com) is sending a survey form to some of our members (those that subscribed via that gateway). The purpose of the survey appears to check on whether you are happy with our service or not. I have no clue why they are doing this (they work for me .. not me work for them) and I don"t think this info has anything to do with them. If you get one of these forms feel free to be honest, or throw it away .. whichever you wish :-)

End of Life Membership Option Extended for a Week

You may have noticed that the Life Membership option is still available. Reason is twofold. I was out of town from Friday to Monday and was not able to publish our Friday newsletter giving the final notice of the end of this membership option. We have many new readers who would not have known about it. I also had a lot of people ask me to extend it into the beginning of the month for financial reasons. We will leave it running until the end of this coming weekend.

If you have been considering taking out a Life Membership, or you just want more info on the ending of our Life Membership option please read here.

Featured Site of the Week

This is a new section of our newsletter where we would like to showcase web sites of real value to our readers. Please send me URL"s of sites that you think deserve to be featured here, and shared with our readers. It does not have to be your own web site. It is completely free for non-commercial sites, and can get you some valuable exposure.

The Official PSP User Group Website

I am amazed at how many of our members do not know about the official PSP User Group web site. So, as our first featured web site of the week I have selected this most excellent resource.

http://www.pspug.org

The PSP User Group offers a MASSIVE resource to PSP users, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran. They have a very active forum of users who deal with most aspects of PSP, they run many different competitions, and they publish a very popular monthly newsletter that is well worth subscribing to.

In addition they also have a large collection of online tutorials, online classes, and self-learning programmes. It is staffed completely by volunteers, and they do an excellent job.

If you have not visited this site before, I strongly recommend that you pay them a visit :-)

Tip of the Week

This is also a new addition to our weekly newsletter. We will feature here any tip or trick that will make our readers use of PSP a little easier/faster. Please send me your suggestions. If we publish it you will win for yourself 30 days access to our members area :-)
